Looseleaf is a social networking app targeting writers, where users can create their own journal, write and share their own entries and prompts, connect/collaborate with other writers, and gain access to valuable writing resources. More specifically speaking, the target audience are both males and females in their 20’s-30’s who have a strong interest in writing. 81% of Americans feel that they have the capability to write a book; however, most have not gone through with it due to the fact that they don’t have access to the steps needed to do so. 
Looseleaf will work for writers who are beginners, providing the ability for these users to receive feedback on their work from others, as well as allowing them easy access to writing resources. The app will also be beneficial towards more professional writers who are looking to get their name out there or even get published. Looseleaf will serve as a platform for these writers to show off their work, become recognizable, and build a fanbase, giving them a stepping stone towards becoming published. The branding is meant to differentiate Looseleaf from other social media apps, using cool colors such as green, off-black, and off-white. The typeface used is a serif as opposed to the typical sans-serif. This also works in the favor of the target audience since many writers prefer a traditional style.
